Jessica Hardy

Jessica Hardy, L.Ac. (licensed acupuncturist)

Jessica couldn't be more thrilled to be doing community-style acupuncture! After running her own private clinic for 3 years, Jessica had the opportunity to open a Community-style acupuncture clinic. Jessica jumped on that opportunity because she knows the group healing energy and the affordability of this model is how she wanted to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine. Every day at Meeting Point Community Acupuncture Clinic, Jessica is thankful to be treating so many people with a wide variety of health issues who might not have been able to afford acupuncture otherwise.

When not working at the clinic, Jessica might be playing, coaching or officiating lacrosse, mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding or taking her favorite Whippet, Bones on a walk or run.

Jessica has a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She studied at Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver and the International School of Oriental Medicine in Beijing, China. She is licensed in the state of Colorado and is nationally certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Lisa Bullis

Lisa M. Bullis L.Ac. (licensed acupuncturist)

Lisa worked in a private practice for several years before finding community-style acupuncture. After reading an article about Working Class Acupuncture in Portland and their community acupuncture revolution she knew that this was what she was meant to do! She also works closely with a nonprofit organization called the Chanda Plan Foundation, working to make alternative health care available to people with disabilities.

When not working Lisa can be found in her backyard gardening, camping, or hiking with her husband, their daughter, Hazel Virginia and Bella the wonder-dog.

Lisa has a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She studied at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California and at the Cheng Du University Hospital in Sichuan, China. She has been practicing since 2003. She is nationally certified by the NCCAOM, licensed in the states of Colorado and California.

Lisa has experience treating patients in a variety of settings. She has worked at the San Diego Hospice, UCSD sports medicine clinic, and UCSD homeless clinic. She has also worked in Australia with a well-known herbal gynecologist treating menstrual disorders and fertility concerns, and studied medical Qi Gong in rural China.

Maura Schuster

Maura Schuster, L.Ac. (licensed acupuncturist)

Maura strongly believes that healthcare should be affordable and accessible to all people regardless of their financial situation. Acupuncture, herbal medicine and dietary therapy form a dynamic and powerful traditional medicine that can treat any modern health concern. She loves community acupuncture because it makes treatment with Chinese medicine available to everyone. Maura is happy to treat pain, sports injuries, headaches, women's issues, and anything else that comes her way!

When she is not working, she loves to cook and go camping with her dog, Ringo. She is delighted to work at Meeting Point Acupuncture, and is looking forward to meeting the patients and helping them to achieve better health!

Maura received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. The program included over 3,000 hours of didactic and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is licensed in the state of Colorado, and is certified as a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Additionally, Maura is certified as a master of Usui Reiki.

Ginette Slaiher

Ginette Slaiher, NCTMB (massage therapist)

Ginette has been a Nationally Certified Massage therapist since 2003 and is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She is also certified in Structural Therapy, pregnancy massage, and cupping with additional training in anatomy, body dynamics, tissue work and movement theory. Employed in varying environments such as a cancer wellness center, acupuncture clinic, and chiropractic office, as well as having her own business, Ginette has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of clients with of a variety of needs.

Ginette entered this field through her own journey of self healing and on the way has developed a great deal of compassion and understanding for the unique unfolding of our individual paths. Her journey acted as a catalyst leading her to explore and study many additional areas of wellness such as medicinal herbalism, spirituality, aromatherapy, nutrition and physical fitness.

Her strong personal commitment to self evolution and professional commitment to her clients inspires her to evolve through education and experience to serve as a conduit to facilitate healing in others. Ginette combines her skill, knowledge, and passion for helping others to treat people on a very individual level. The core of her practice centers around the belief that the human body possesses the ability self-heal. Her vision is to create a space that allows others to step out of the chaos of everyday life and immerse themselves in peace, healing, and good intentions.

Allegra Hoopingarner

Allegra Hoopingarner, CMT (massage therapist)

Allegra graduated from The Edmund Morgan school of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Cornelius, North Carolina; and is trained in Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, Thermal Stone Massage, and Reflexology.

Allegra's philosophy is that pain in one area often originates with tension in an entirely different region. She believes it is important to treat the whole body, mind, and soul in order to understand the roots of chronic pain and tension. Her ideal client prefers moderate to deep pressure throughout their massage and those who enjoy trigger point work. She also recognizes the importance of, and enjoys performing lighter work and relaxation massage.
